BESS R&D Electrical Engineer
Job Description:
Planning, development, design, testing, and evaluation of large-scale industrial energy storage systems. Depending on your knowledge, skills, and experience, you may also be entrusted with project management responsibilities.
※ Currently, they are working with partner companies including electric utilities on a wide range of application developments-from relatively small systems to large-scale industrial systems. They are also actively proposing solutions for ESS utilization in the VPP era. They are seeking talent who can play a key role in these development efforts.
Work Location:
- Kyoto Headquarters: Seika-cho, Soraku-gun, Kyoto Prefecture
Preferred Qualifications (any one or more of the following):
- Experience in electrical circuit and product development using power electronics equipment and inverters (AC-DC converters)
- Technical knowledge and practical experience in the development and design of PV inverters, energy storage systems, etc.
- Technical knowledge and practical experience in electrical/electronic circuit design
- Technical knowledge and practical experience in the development and design of various power electronics equipment and systems
- Knowledge and experience in grid interconnection testing, coordination with electric utilities, and other grid-related expertise
- Foreign language skills (e.g., English) for communication in product development with overseas partners
