BMS Design Engineer
Our client is seeking a Design Engineer to join their team, specializing in Building Automation Systems (BAS) for mission-critical data center projects across the U.S. This is a remote role, offering flexibility while contributing to the design of infrastructure that powers the digital economy.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and design building automation system layouts for data centers.

Produce and maintain schematics, wiring diagrams, and system drawings using AutoCAD or Visio.

Collaborate with project managers, controls engineers, and field teams to ensure designs meet client specifications and industry standards.

Support integration of BAS platforms (e.g., Tridium Niagara, Distech, Johnson Controls) into data center environments.

Ensure compliance with safety, energy efficiency, and sustainability requirements.

Provide technical documentation and design support throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Controls Engineering (or equivalent experience).

Proven experience in building automation design, ideally within data center environments.

Proficiency in AutoCAD or Visio for system design and documentation.

Strong understanding of HVAC, electrical systems, and BAS integration.

Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment.
