This role is ideal for professionals with 5+ years of structural bridge design experience who are ready to take the next step in their career. Responsibilities

  • Lead technical efforts on complex, multi-disciplinary bridge projects
  • Deliver assignments accurately and on time with limited supervision
  • Support project budgeting, scope development, and scheduling
  • Understand client organizations and expectations
  • Share best practices to improve team performance and efficiency
  • Develop person-hour estimates and budgets with senior guidance
  • Lead small teams on moderately complex projects
  • Assist in proposal development and presentations
  • Mentor and coach junior engineers and peers
  • Conduct site visits and lead client/contractor meetings
  • Prepare technical writing and presentations for deliverables and public forums

Qualifications

  • BS in Civil/Structural Engineering (MS preferred)
  • 5-10 years of relevant bridge design experience
  • Current PE license in NH, MA, ME, or VT
  • Experience with MaineDOT, NHDOT, VTrans, or MassDOT bridge projects
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, MicroStation, Bridge Structural Analysis Programs, MathCAD, BlueBeam, and related tools
