Responsibilities
- Lead technical efforts on complex, multi-disciplinary bridge projects
- Deliver assignments accurately and on time with limited supervision
- Support project budgeting, scope development, and scheduling
- Understand client organizations and expectations
- Share best practices to improve team performance and efficiency
- Develop person-hour estimates and budgets with senior guidance
- Lead small teams on moderately complex projects
- Assist in proposal development and presentations
- Mentor and coach junior engineers and peers
- Conduct site visits and lead client/contractor meetings
- Prepare technical writing and presentations for deliverables and public forums
Qualifications
- BS in Civil/Structural Engineering (MS preferred)
- 5-10 years of relevant bridge design experience
- Current PE license in NH, MA, ME, or VT
- Experience with MaineDOT, NHDOT, VTrans, or MassDOT bridge projects
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MicroStation, Bridge Structural Analysis Programs, MathCAD, BlueBeam, and related tools
