We're partnering with a nationally respected building envelope consultancy that has been delivering expert services for over three decades. Their work spans K-12 and higher education, municipal infrastructure, commercial and corporate buildings, and sports facilities. Known for their signature consulting process and collaborative team approach, they offer a powerful blend of design expertise, construction knowledge, and project execution skills.

This opportunity is based in Atlanta, Georgia, and will support the Director in delivering high-quality roofing and building envelope consulting services. The role includes forensic investigations, roof replacements, wind infiltration assessments, and indoor air quality evaluations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise field personnel and oversee construction activities to ensure quality and timeliness
  • Conduct both destructive and non-destructive investigations and recommend appropriate solutions
  • Perform inspections at existing facilities focusing on roofing and construction issues
  • Manage project documentation and maintain project directories
  • Build and maintain client relationships while supporting facilities management and new construction projects
  • Collaborate with internal teams and report on project progress and challenges

Candidate Profile

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in architectural/engineering consulting or construction
  • Proven experience in managing teams, field personnel, or project workflows within a construction or consulting environment
  • Strong supervisory and organizational skills
  • Comfortable working in various construction settings and weather conditions
  • Proficient with tools such as core cutters, utility knives, screw guns, and hammers
  • Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Engineering
  • Professional certifications such as RRC, REWC, or RWC
  • Observer certifications such as RRO or REWO
  • Proficiency in Autodesk Suites (Revit, AutoCAD)
