Building Envelope Consultnant
We have a current opportunity for a Building Envelope Consultant on a permanent basis. The position will be based in Oregon. For further information about this position please apply.
Conduct site investigations, condition assessments, and forensic evaluations.
Develop repair recommendations, technical reports, and design specs.
Support new construction and retrofit projects with envelope detailing and consulting.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors throughout project phases.
Perform field testing (e.g., water infiltration, air leakage) and monitor construction.
Stay current with codes, standards, and best practices.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's in Architecture, Engineering, or Building Science (Master's preferred).
6+ years in building envelope consulting or a related field.
Proficient in envelope systems (roofing, waterproofing, cladding, glazing, etc.).
Strong communication, reporting, and project coordination skills.
EIT or PE preferred; certifications like RRO or LEED AP are assets.
Willingness to travel to project sites.
