CAISO Developer
My client is a utility-scale developer heavily focused on battery storage projects across the Western US and Texas. They've had incredible success to date in these territories, selling projects at NTP, with a long-term plan of owning and operating.
They're currently looking for a strong developer with experience in the CAISO market. Years of experience will be flexible, and title/level of role will reflect the right candidate. But the ideal candidate will be currently developing utility-scale projects across CAISO, and stand-alone battery storage experience is a preference but not required.
Job Expectations:
- Leading and supporting advancement of utility-scale battery storage and solar/storage hybrid projects, from early-stage/greenfield up to NTP.
- Deep understanding of the CAISO market, the utilities, interconnection process, and permitting landscape.
- Coordinate cross-functionally with other internal teams including development, engineering, origination, and finance as well as external counterparts including consultants.
- Day-to-day management of project budgets, schedules, maintaining relationships with key third parties and external stakeholders.
This is a fully remote position, although my client has established offices and headcount across the Western US (CO, UT, AZ, CA). This is an opportunity to join a leaner shop consisting of seasoned industry experts. Despite being a smaller team, they have in-house experts across development, finance, engineering, and other subject matter expert functions. If this opportunity seems well-aligned with your experience and interests, don't hesitate to apply here today!
