We're currently seeking an experienced CEI Bridge Inspector to support one of the Houston area's most significant transportation infrastructure projects.
This is an opportunity to work on a marquee bridge project while joining a growing team that offers long-term project stability, exposure to complex bridge construction activities, and strong career growth potential.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of transportation construction inspection experience
- Minimum 5+ years of bridge construction inspection experience
- Experience working on DOT transportation projects
- Strong understanding of CEI procedures, construction specifications, and quality assurance requirements
- Ability to review plans, specifications, and contractor compliance
- Strong documentation, reporting, and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with contractors, project teams, and client representatives
Responsibilities
- Perform daily bridge construction inspection activities
- Monitor contractor work for compliance with plans and specifications
- Document project progress and prepare detailed inspection reports
- Verify materials, workmanship, and safety compliance
- Coordinate with project stakeholders and field personnel
- Track and report field issues as they arise
- Maintain accurate project records and documentation
