Join a growing transportation team supporting major PennDOT infrastructure projects throughout Western Pennsylvania.
A respected engineering consulting firm is seeking a CEI Supervisor (TCI Level 3 or 4) to support an upcoming PennDOT bridge preservation program in the Pittsburgh area. This opportunity will provide leadership responsibilities on a multi-bridge preservation contract and offers long-term growth within a well-established transportation practice.
While the project is currently anticipated to begin in February 2027, the firm is open to bringing the right individual on board sooner.
Responsibilities
- Provide Construction Engineering & Inspection (CEI) oversight on PennDOT transportation projects
- Supervise field inspection staff and coordinate day-to-day construction activities
- Monitor contractor compliance with plans, specifications, and PennDOT standards
- Review project documentation, daily reports, and construction records
- Coordinate with contractors, clients, and project stakeholders
- Ensure quality, safety, and schedule requirements are met throughout project delivery
Qualifications
- TCI Level 3 or Level 4 certification
- Experience working on PennDOT construction projects
- Previous supervisory or lead inspection experience preferred
- Strong understanding of PennDOT procedures, specifications, and documentation requirements
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
