They're currently hiring a Transportation Engineer to join their dynamic team in the Chicago area. This is a unique opportunity to work on high-impact transportation and site engineering projects while becoming a key part of a collaborative and technically strong group.
What You'll Do:
- Lead and contribute to the design of highways, roadways, and sewer systems
- Collaborate across disciplines and serve as a technical resource
- Prepare plans, specifications, estimates, permits, and reports
- Mentor junior engineers and engage with professional societies
- Help shape the future of transportation in Illinois
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- 5+ years of experience in transportation/highway/street design
- Familiarity with IDOT, CDOT, IL Tollway, and municipal standards
- PE license in Illinois
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Proficiency in MicroStation/OpenRoads (AutoCAD Civil3D is a plus)
