The Role
A civil engineering position with real exposure across all phases of project delivery on a varied portfolio. A strong fit for someone who wants to grow within a firm that takes people development seriously, not just project output.
Responsibilities
- Prepare plans, specifications, cost estimates, schedules, and technical reports
- Site grading, drainage and utility design, and erosion control
- Permitting, agency coordination, and tracking permit requirements throughout project lifecycles
- Support construction administration through site visits, meetings, and inspections
Required Qualifications
- Oregon PE license or EIT with ability to obtain PE within six months
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (or equivalent)
- 3+ years of relevant civil engineering experience
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Strong technical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication skills with internal teams, clients, and agency staff
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with design standards and permitting in the Portland metro or SW Washington areas
- Understanding of the land use entitlement process
- Experience with Vehicle Tracking, ArcGIS, and Bluebeam
- CESCL certification
- Experience designing LID features on public and private projects
Compensation
- $80,000 to $125,000 depending on experience
