Civil Engineer
An established, employee-owned engineering consultancy with a long-standing reputation for technical excellence is seeking a PE-licensed Civil Engineer to support the continued growth of its civil engineering practice.
This position offers the opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of projects including utility infrastructure, power generation facilities, data centers, commercial developments, industrial facilities, and other site development projects. The successful candidate will play a visible role in project delivery, client engagement, permitting, and multidisciplinary coordination while working alongside experienced engineering professionals across the Southeast.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead civil site design efforts including grading, drainage, stormwater management, paving, and erosion control.
- Prepare site layouts and development plans for utility, industrial, commercial, and infrastructure-related projects.
- Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D to develop engineering models and construction documents.
- Perform stormwater analyses and drainage design using hydrology and hydraulic software.
- Prepare permitting packages and coordinate approvals with local, state, and regulatory agencies.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including civil, structural, electrical, geotechnical, and environmental professionals.
- Support client management, proposal development, and project delivery activities.
- Conduct site visits, field assessments, and construction coordination as required.
- Participate in QA/QC reviews and provide technical guidance to project teams.
Desired Qualifications
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- 5+ years of civil engineering and site development experience.
- Strong background in land development, grading, drainage, stormwater management, and permitting.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Experience coordinating with regulatory agencies and managing project approvals.
- Strong communication, client management, and project leadership skills.
- Ability to travel periodically for project meetings and site visits.
