A third‑party recruitment partner is seeking an experienced Site/Civil Project Engineer to serve as an Owner's Engineer for a highly respected civil engineering firm. This role blends hands‑on site/civil design with client‑side advisory responsibilities across planning, permitting, design, and construction.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead site layout, grading, utilities, drainage, and stormwater management design.
- Prepare civil plan sets, specs, and permitting documentation.
- Oversee hydrologic/hydraulic modeling and stormwater reports.
- Support the Owner by managing RFIs, reviewing submittals, and ensuring design compliance.
- Coordinate with municipalities, agencies, and project stakeholders.
- Provide technical guidance and mentor junior staff.
- Conduct site visits for design reviews and construction oversight.
Requirements
- 10+ years of site/civil engineering experience.
- B.S. or M.S. in Civil Engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- Strong communication, problem‑solving, and client‑facing skills.
- Proficiency with Civil 3D, HydroCAD, or similar civil design tools.
