Civil Engineer/Project Manager
A full-service architecture and engineering firm is currently looking for an experienced Civil Engineer to manage projects from conception to completion. With multiple locations spanning several states, they are able to serve their clients from offices near you with exceptional responsiveness while maintaining the professional expertise found in larger urban cities. In this role, you will be responsible for the management of a cross-functional engineering team to develop the design for land development, water infrastructure, waste water infrastructure, and/or storm water infrastructure projects. Responsibilities:
- Plan and design civil site drawings with AutoCAD Civil 3D including existing and finish grading plans with cut/fill volumes, storm-water collection and conveyance systems, buried piping and utility plans and profiles, and road layouts.
- Plan and design other civil site drawings and deliverables including land disturbance permit packages, building permit packages, environmental compliance deliverables, storm water calculations, and storm water pollution prevention plan packages.
- Lead professional staff and team members.
- Communicate with team members and clients to coordinate and oversee all components of a project.
- Ensure design quality, functionality and constructability.
Qualifications:
- BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering
- PE License in Utah
- Ability to foster existing and cultivate new client relationships.
- Technical proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Proven communication and management skills.
- Designed multiple land development and/or municipal utility projects.
