A respected general contractor specializing in heavy civil and concrete infrastructure projects is seeking an experienced Concrete Superintendent to join their team in Casper, WY. This is an excellent opportunity to lead field operations on high-profile projects and work with a company that values quality, safety, and teamwork.
What You'll Do:
- Supervise and manage all concrete operations on heavy civil projects.
- Oversee crews performing curb and gutter work, slipform paving, and other concrete-related tasks.
- Ensure adherence to project specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to maintain schedules and budgets.
- Monitor daily progress and provide accurate reporting to leadership.
- Train and mentor crew members to maintain high performance and safety culture.
Experience Needed:
- 5+ years of experience in concrete construction supervision.
- Hands-on experience with curb and gutter work and slipform paving operations.
- Proven ability to manage crews and subcontractors on heavy civil projects.
- Strong understanding of concrete placement, finishing, and curing techniques.
- Familiarity with reading and interpreting civil plans and specifications.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (additional technical training preferred).
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems in the field.
