Construction Administration/Design Representative
Position Title: Construction Administration & Design Integration Manager
Location: Atlanta, Georgia Area

Role Overview
This position supports construction oversight and design coordination for complex building projects. The role ensures alignment with project documentation, industry standards, and client goals throughout the construction lifecycle. The successful candidate will act as a liaison between field teams, design consultants, and client stakeholders to drive quality and schedule adherence.
Key Responsibilities
Field Coordination & Oversight
- Use project management platforms (e.g., Procore) for tracking RFIs, Submittals, and documentation.
- Represent design interests onsite, facilitating communication between contractors and client teams.
- Identify and resolve potential issues proactively to maintain schedule, budget, and quality.
- Monitor field conditions and ensure documentation reflects actual progress.
Technical Documentation & Controls
- Maintain organized drawing/specification libraries with version control.
- Manage RFIs and Submittals, ensuring timely review and coordination.
- Review Change Orders for scope, cost, and schedule impacts.
- Validate monthly Pay Applications with field verification and photographic documentation.
- Develop inspection checklists aligned with architectural and MEP/FP standards.
Construction Monitoring
- Conduct site walks to identify discrepancies and safety concerns.
- Track resolution of high-risk items and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Monitor material quality and adherence to design intent.
- Document weekly progress and support payment validation.
- Participate in coordination meetings and support commissioning and turnover.
Administrative Support
- Distribute daily reports and manage project documentation.
- Track hours and submit internal progress reports.
- Ensure timely completion of assigned tasks and deliverables.
Qualifications
Skills & Experience
- Solid understanding of MEP / FA / FP trades and construction practices.
- Familiarity with commercial and mission-critical construction methods.
- Experience with Method of Procedure (MOP) planning and execution.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction management software.
- Strong documentation and organizational skills.
- Effective communicator with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in dynamic environments.
- Analytical skills for issue resolution and stakeholder representation.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, or construction management.
- 10-15 years of relevant construction experience, including 5-10 years in construction administration or field project management.
- 20+ years of total industry experience preferred.
Additional Details
- Physical demands include site mobility and occasional lifting (up to 25 lbs).
- Daily travel within the Atlanta area; up to 60% travel nationally.
- Valid driver's license and REAL ID or passport required for air travel.
