The Role
As Project Manager, you will interface directly with clients and project teams through the full cycle of strategic planning, design, and construction of new buildings, tenant improvement buildouts, and facilities assignments. You will:
- Manage projects that consistently meet or exceed client expectations and deadlines
- Review program aspects with the owner and confirm conformance with project goals
- Serve as liaison between the client and design and construction professionals
- Initiate and manage procurement of design, construction, and consultant services
- Draft, negotiate, and enforce contractual documents
- Direct and monitor budgets and schedules through web based project controls, and analyze their financial impact
- Oversee development of architectural and engineering drawings and bid documents
- Run project meetings, present status, and anticipate issues early
- Coordinate value engineering, authorize contracts and purchase orders, process progress draws, and manage closeout
- Represent the firm in networking and business development
What You Bring
- 5+ years of development and project management experience (life science or pharmaceutical sector experience is highly valued)
- A Bachelor's degree or higher in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Urban Planning, Real Estate Finance, or a related field
- A proven ability to manage successful projects and build strong client relationships
- Working knowledge of project controls, construction documentation, and sequencing
- A self starter with high integrity, polished communication, strong emotional intelligence, and a collaborative mindset
