A well-established engineering consulting firm is seeking a Construction Manager to support transportation infrastructure projects throughout Western Pennsylvania.
This individual will play a key role on a major bridge preservation project in Westmoreland County, with construction anticipated to begin in February. The project has already been secured and offers the opportunity to lead construction activities on a high-visibility transportation initiative while joining an organization with a strong backlog of future work.

Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day construction activities for bridge and transportation projects.
- Coordinate with contractors, inspectors, engineers, and owner representatives.
- Monitor project schedules, budgets, safety, quality, and contract compliance.
- Review project documentation, change orders, and progress reports.
- Ensure work is performed in accordance with PennDOT standards and specifications.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between project stakeholders.
- Lead project teams and provide guidance to inspection staff.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of construction management, transportation, bridge, or heavy civil experience.
- Experience overseeing PennDOT projects strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of construction administration, documentation, scheduling, and project delivery.
- Proven ability to lead field teams and coordinate multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- NICET or PICET certification required.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
