Position Overview

The company is seeking a seasoned Site Superintendent to lead heavy civil and sitework projects. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to manage multiple crews and subcontractors on large-scale projects involving excavation, utilities, and roadway construction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct and supervise all phases of site development, including:
    • Excavation, demolition, and land clearing
    • Earthwork and site grading
    • Underground utility installation (water, sewer, storm drainage)
    • Road construction and surface restoration
  • Coordinate schedules, equipment, and subcontractors
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements
  • Interpret civil plans and specifications
  • Communicate effectively with project managers, engineers, and clients
  • Resolve on-site challenges promptly and maintain project timelines

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in heavy civil/sitework supervision
  • Expertise in excavation, grading, and underground utilities
  • Familiarity with roadway construction, sewage systems, and stormwater management
  • Ability to manage multiple crews and subcontractors
  • OSHA certification preferred
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
