Construction Scheduler (Rail)
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Scheduler with a strong background in transit infrastructure projects, particularly with New York City Transit (NYCT) and/or Long Island Rail Road (LIRR). The ideal candidate will be proficient in Primavera P6 and capable of developing, maintaining, and analyzing complex project schedules to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, update, and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to gather scheduling data and ensure alignment with project goals.
- Analyze schedule performance, identify risks, and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Prepare progress reports, critical path analyses, and schedule forecasts.
- Ensure compliance with NYCT/LIRR scheduling standards and reporting requirements.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in construction scheduling for NYCT and/or LIRR projects.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 (required).
- Strong understanding of construction project management principles and scheduling methodologies.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
