About the Role
We're looking for a hands-on Controls Engineer to support troubleshooting, programming, commissioning, and automation improvements across a variety of industrial environments.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving real-world automation challenges, working directly with customers, and being involved in both PLC programming and electrical troubleshooting.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and modify PLC and HMI programs.
- Diagnose electrical, sensor, motor, VFD, and control system issues.
- Support installations, commissioning, upgrades, and equipment improvements.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation.
- Identify and resolve equipment downtime and performance issues.
- Work directly with customers and cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- 2+ years of Controls, Automation, Field Service, or related experience.
- Allen-Bradley/Rockwell PLC experience.
- PLC and HMI troubleshooting/programming experience.
- Industrial electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics.
- Comfortable working independently in customer-facing environments.
