Automation Project Manager - Remote
Join a fast-paced, high-impact team delivering automation solutions for mission-critical infrastructure across hyperscale data centers. As an Automation Project Manager, you'll lead complex programs ranging from 20 to 200+ MW, overseeing the full project lifecycle from design through procurement, installation, testing, and final turnover. This remote role is ideal for a seasoned professional who thrives in dynamic environments and is passionate about driving innovation and execution at scale.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end project delivery, ensuring alignment with aggressive timelines and quality standards.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams across BAS, SCADA, HVAC, and IT/OT systems.
- Oversee budgets, schedules, risk mitigation, and stakeholder communications.
- Interface with contractors, OEMs, commissioning agents, and client teams.
- Utilize tools such as BIM 360, Procore, and digital twins to enhance project execution and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in automation or controls project management, including 4+ years leading ≥50 MW data center or industrial projects.
- Deep knowledge of BAS, PLC, and SCADA systems (e.g., Rockwell, Siemens, Ignition).
- Familiarity with Tier III/IV standards, NFPA 70E, and hyperscale infrastructure requirements.
- Strong leadership, communication, and remote collaboration skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Preferred certifications: PMP, CCP, NICET IV.
