They are currently seeking an experienced Practice Leader to guide the growth and strategic direction of their civil engineering and urban design practice. Responsibilities:
- Lead and expand the civil engineering practice
- Collaborate with firm leadership to shape strategic goals, balance regional workloads, and pursue new business opportunities
- Oversee project delivery, ensuring high-quality outcomes that exceed client expectations.
- Represent the firm in industry events, conferences, and professional associations.
- Support cross-sector collaboration with planning and strategic consulting teams.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of civil engineering experience
- Professional Engineering (PE) license in Illinois preferred
- Strong background in transportation-related projects and civil/site design
- Proven ability to manage staff, projects, and client relationships
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Experience with business development and public agency coordination
