Types of Work & Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate teams responsible for drafting, reviewing, and finalizing site plans, construction documents, and related deliverables while supervising survey crews, technicians, and office staff
- Review and analyze project survey data using modern technologies and industry‑standard software, including AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Evaluate existing site conditions, legal descriptions, ALTA surveys, easements, and other documentation to support development decisions
- Oversee complex survey efforts-including large‑scale ALTA projects-and support construction‑related tasks such as permit applications, quantity estimates, and document assembly
- Mentor and develop staff through training, career planning, and professional development, while participating in industry events and recognizing high-performing team members
Qualifications:
- Professional Survey License (PLS, PSM)
- Ability to coach, mentor, and develop a growing team.
- Prior experience working with Trimble Business Center and AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred.
- The ideal Project Manager will have advanced understanding of; Boundary Surveys, ALTA Surveys, Construction Staking, Leveling, Traversing, GPS, Data Collections, Legal Descriptions, Plan interpretations, along with Real Estate Documents
