They are currently seeking a Drainage Engineer to lead critical transportation-related drainage initiatives and support their continued growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Phase I and II drainage analysis and design efforts
- Design storm water facilities such as culverts, detention basins, and green infrastructure
- Assist with proposals, scope development, and client interviews
- Provide QA/QC oversight and mentor junior staff
- Communicate with clients and regulatory agencies
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Civil Engineering
- 4+ years of relevant experience in roadway and infrastructure design
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)
- Experience with drainage-related permitting (USACE, IDNR-OWR, etc.)
- Proficiency in MicroStation/Geopak, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, StormCAD, HY-8
- Familiarity with Illinois DOT work flows and standards
