A well-established structural engineering firm in Georgia is seeking a Junior Structural Engineer with 2-5 years of experience and EIT certification. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and analysis of new buildings and renovations
- Support construction administration and field inspections
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and senior engineers
- Develop structural models, calculations, and construction documents
- Learn and apply relevant codes and standards
- Contribute to adaptive reuse and historic preservation projects
Qualifications
- BS in Civil Engineering (Structural emphasis) from an ABET-accredited program
- 2-5 years of structural engineering experience
- EIT certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
- Familiarity with structural design software (e.g., RISA, RAM, Revit)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A desire to grow professionally and contribute to a positive team culture
