Electrical Controls Engineer-New Mexico

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Hybrid Electrical Engineer to join our team. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining electrical systems and components for a variety of applications, with a focus on both on-site and remote collaboration. The ideal candidate will have experience in power systems, control systems, and/or embedded electronics, and be comfortable working in a hybrid work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, test, and implement electrical systems and components for industrial, commercial, or consumer applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical, software, and systems engineers.
  • Develop and review technical drawings, specifications, and documentation.
  • Perform simulations and analysis to ensure system reliability and compliance with industry standards.
  • Support troubleshooting and root cause analysis for electrical issues in the field or during development.
  • Participate in design reviews and provide technical input throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Maintain clear communication and documentation while working in a hybrid (remote/on-site) setting.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • 3+ years of experience in electrical engineering roles.
  • Proficiency with CAD tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Altium, or similar).
  • Experience with circuit design, PCB layout, and power distribution systems.
  • Familiarity with relevant codes and standards (e.g., NEC, IEEE, IEC).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with renewable energy systems, automotive electronics, or industrial automation.
  • Knowledge of embedded systems and programming (e.g., C/C++, Python).
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or working toward certification.
