Electrical Engineer
A growing national engineering consultancy is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join their team. With a strong presence in the industrial process manufacturing sector, this firm supports clients in pulp & paper, chemicals, food & beverage, consumer products, pharmaceuticals, and more. What You'll Do:
Design power distribution, lighting, and grounding systems for industrial facilities
Develop conceptual layouts, equipment specifications, and construction documents
Lead and coordinate detailed phases of electrical engineering projects
Prepare one-line diagrams, wiring drawings, panel layouts, motor schematics, and conduit/tray routing
Work with grounding systems (high resistance, building, isolated)
Conduct site visits and provide on-site startup support
Collaborate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure successful project execution
What They're Looking For:
5+ years of experience in electrical design for industrial facilities
Strong knowledge of NEC, ANSI, NEMA, and NFPA codes and standards
Experience with medium and low-voltage distribution systems
Proficiency in AutoCAD and working knowledge of Autodesk Revit
Ability to manage onsite plant projects with minimal supervision
PE license or EIT certification preferred (not required)
Strong communication and organizational skills
