Electrical Engineer
A well-established MEP design firm with over 45 years of experience is seeking a licensed Electrical Engineer (P.E.) to join their team in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. This is a leadership-track role with the opportunity to grow into the head of the electrical engineering department within one year. The firm is known for its iconic projects across South Florida, including high-rise residential and commercial buildings, hotels, stadiums, and more. This is a great opportunity for someone who is technically strong, client-focused, and ready to take on a leadership role.
What You'll Do:
Lead electrical design for residential and commercial buildings, including high-rises
Manage projects from concept through construction
Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to department leadership
Ensure quality, responsiveness, and timely project delivery
What They're Looking For:
Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.)
Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical design at U.S.-based MEP firms
Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
Bilingual in Spanish preferred
Strong leadership, communication, and client-facing skills
Results-driven and quality-conscious
