A well-established renewable energy developer based in Adelaide is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to support its growing portfolio of utility-scale solar and battery projects. The company is known for its hands-on approach to development and EPC delivery, with a strong focus on innovation and sustainability.
Role Overview:
This role is ideal for an electrical engineer with a solid track record in utility-scale renewable energy projects, covering both development and EPC phases. You'll be responsible for electrical design, grid connection, procurement, and construction oversight, working closely with internal teams and external contractors to ensure successful project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead electrical design and engineering for high-voltage solar and battery projects
- Support grid connection studies and liaise with network service providers
- Oversee procurement and manage electrical contractors during construction
- Conduct site inspections and provide technical input during commissioning
- Ensure compliance with Australian standards and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with development, project management, and construction teams
Requirements:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years' experience in utility-scale renewable energy projects
- Strong understanding of HV systems, grid connection, and EPC workflows
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, ETAP, and relevant design tools
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
