Electrical Superintendent - Commercial, Healthcare & Data Center Construction (Houston, TX)
Salaries: $120,000 - $160,000
Projects: Large-scale commercial, healthcare, and data center projects valued up to $250 million
Previous experience working with an electrical contractor or in electrical construction required.
DESCRIPTION:
As an Electrical Superintendent, reporting to the General Manager, you will have the opportunity to:
- Act as the primary leader of subcontractors and field forces on a job site
- Maintain project safety in accordance with the company's Safety Policy
- Oversee multiple jobs and manage manpower for each project
- Develop and update project schedules
- Prepare two-week look-ahead schedules
- Update project schedules using computerized scheduling software
- Assist with the buyout and selection of major subcontractors
- Coordinate the work of subcontractors' field forces
- Communicate effectively with owners, designers, and engineers
- Maintain accurate cost reports
REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma or GED required or field experience
- 3 years of electrical construction experience
- Proven history of managing others, including leading, teaching, developing, and mentoring successfully
- Experience with Conest and Accubid software
- Familiarity with project management and scheduling tools (e.g., JDE, Procore, Bluebeam, Asta)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
