Position Summary

We're looking for an experienced Electrical Superintendent (E9) to take full leadership responsibility on small‑ to mid‑sized ground‑up and tenant‑finish projects. In this role, you'll oversee all field operations, supervise multiple crews and subordinate supervisors, and ensure electrical installations are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct and oversee all electrical craft workers on active projects.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers on estimates, take‑offs, schedules, and manpower planning.
  • Lay out work for foremen and lead personnel to ensure consistent workflow and productivity.
  • Coordinate labor, tools, equipment, materials, and information to keep the project running smoothly.
  • Create work schedules and manpower loading plans.
  • Serve as the primary onsite contact with the General Contractor/Owner for scheduling and performance matters.
  • Oversee installation of electrical feeders, switchgear, pumps, motors, generators, lighting, and distribution equipment.
  • Monitor job progress and adjust scheduling to align with project pace and other trades.
  • Manage all required jobsite documentation: daily reports, timesheets, safety paperwork, etc.
  • Ensure all site safety processes are followed and lead overall project safety performance.
  • Ensure all team members are properly trained for their assigned tasks.
  • Investigate and document any safety incidents or jobsite issues.
  • Perform additional duties as needed to support project delivery.

Qualifications

  • Advanced knowledge of electrical construction practices and experience overseeing lower-level electrical workers.
  • Texas Journeyman or Master Electrician License required.
  • Current TDLR Electrical License.
  • Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • 6+ years of commercial/industrial electrical experience.
  • OSHA 30 certification.
