Engineering Manager
We have an exciting opportunity for an Engineering Manager based in Charlotte, NC.
This is a senior-level leadership role ideal for a dynamic and experienced engineering professional ready to take the next step in their career. The Engineering Manager will oversee and grow our Charlotte office, playing a key role in shaping its future. This position involves managing day-to-day operations, supervising a team of engineers and designers, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality engineering solutions. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator who can effectively interface with clients, resolve technical and project-related issues, and foster long-term relationships.
In addition to operational responsibilities, the Engineering Manager will lead business development efforts, including marketing our engineering services and identifying new opportunities within the investor-owned, municipal, and electric cooperative utility sectors. This role requires a strategic thinker with a passion for innovation and a commitment to excellence.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering
- Registered Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Proven experience in substation design and engineering
- Familiarity with project management software and tools
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
