Our client is seeking a dynamic Engineering Manager to lead strategic initiatives that ensure the reliability, efficiency, and long-term performance of their electrical distribution infrastructure. Key Responsibilities
System Performance & Strategic Planning
- Evaluate the current electrical distribution system to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and implement a four-year plan focused on maintenance and construction to enhance system operations.
Technical Leadership & Collaboration
- Collaborate with engineering teams to conduct load flow analysis, short circuit studies, and protective relay coordination.
- Oversee technical studies related to voltage regulation, arc flash safety, and system-wide coordination to improve reliability and safety.
Infrastructure Development & Future Readiness
- Forecast future energy demands and design infrastructure upgrades to support business expansion and increased load requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Proven experience in the electrical utility industry.
- Understanding of NERC and FERC regulations; experience with SPP is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Valid driver's license and compliance with drug testing requirements.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
