Environmental Practice Lead

A respected employee-owned environmental consulting and engineering firm is seeking a senior environmental professional to help lead and expand its presence in the Denver market.

This is an opportunity for an established consultant who enjoys building strong client relationships, leading complex environmental projects, mentoring staff, and contributing to the continued growth of a highly regarded practice. The role offers a balance of technical leadership, project oversight, and business development within a collaborative environment that values expertise, quality, and long-term client partnerships.

What You'll Do

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients across Colorado and the Rocky Mountain region.
  • Lead environmental consulting projects from strategy and proposal development through execution and delivery.
  • Strengthen and expand existing client relationships while helping identify new opportunities.
  • Provide technical leadership on environmental investigation, remediation, compliance, and related projects.
  • Mentor and develop environmental professionals at various stages of their careers.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver practical, high-quality solutions for clients.

What We're Looking For

  • 10+ years of environmental consulting experience.
  • Demonstrated success managing client relationships and developing business within consulting environments.
  • Experience overseeing environmental investigation, remediation, compliance, due diligence, hydrogeology, water resources, or related projects.
  • Strong knowledge of the Colorado environmental consulting market.
  • Proven leadership experience managing projects, teams, and client accounts.
  • Professional registration such as PE, PG, CHG, or similar credentials is preferred.
