Embark on an exciting career journey in the heart of Tokyo, Japan! We are seeking a dynamic BESS Business Development Assistant Manager to expand our projects within the renewable energy sector, specifically focusing on Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and solar power initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the development and execution of strategies for battery storage and solar power projects, ensuring alignment with industry standards and sustainability goals. You will be pivotal in formulating project scopes, setting timelines, and overseeing the delivery of project milestones, ensuring they meet targeted outcomes.
  • Manage relationships with stakeholders and partners to enhance business opportunities, fostering collaborations that drive both innovation and market penetration. This involves regular interaction with industry leaders, regulatory bodies, and technology providers to secure and manage strategic partnerships effectively.
  • Analyze market trends and technological advancements to stay ahead in the industry, utilizing insights to craft strategic approaches that leverage emerging opportunities in renewable energy. This includes comprehensive market research, attending industry conferences, and participating in forums to gather intelligence and network with other professionals.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • JLPT N3 or above: Proficiency in Japanese to effectively communicate and manage business relations in Japan, ensuring clear and effective interactions with local partners and stakeholders. This qualification is essential to bridge cultural and linguistic gaps, ensuring seamless integration and operation within the Japanese market.
  • Electrical Engineering Experience: Solid background in electrical engineering to understand and innovate within the technical scopes of projects, driving advancements in BESS and solar power solutions. A deep understanding of system design, troubleshooting, and performance optimization is required.
  • Solar Power Project Experience: Hands-on experience with solar power projects to drive sustainable business solutions, contributing to the development of economically viable and environmentally friendly energy systems. Experience in project management, installation, and maintenance of solar power systems will be highly beneficial.
