Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team and provide on-site technical support for automation and control systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Siemens TIA Portal and Iconics HMI/SCADA platforms, ensuring efficient installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of industrial automation systems.

Key Responsibilities

Install, configure, and commission automation systems at customer sites.
Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair of PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems.
Develop and modify programs using Siemens TIA Portal for PLCs and HMIs.
Configure and maintain Iconics SCADA systems for data visualization and reporting.
Provide technical support and training to customers on system operation.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures during field work.
Document service activities, including reports and system updates.


Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent experience).
3+ years of experience in industrial automation or field service engineering.
Proficiency in Siemens TIA Portal programming and troubleshooting.
Hands-on experience with Iconics HMI/SCADA configuration and maintenance.
Strong understanding of control systems, networking, and industrial protocols.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
Excellent problem-solving skills and customer service orientation.
Willingness to travel within the region and occasionally nationwide.


Preferred Skills

Knowledge of additional PLC platforms (Allen-Bradley, Schneider, etc.).
Familiarity with VFDs, motion control, and instrumentation.
Experience in food & beverage, automotive, or aerospace industries.
