Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Geotechnical Engineer to support and lead geotechnical work across transportation, infrastructure, and civil development projects in the Detroit area. This role includes full project management responsibility and active participation in business development.

Key Responsibilities
Technical
- Lead geotechnical investigations, analyses, and design recommendations.
- Prepare concise, high‑quality technical reports and documentation.
- Provide technical oversight and mentorship to junior staff.
Project Management
- Independently manage projects, including scope, schedule, budget, and deliverables.
- Serve as the primary client contact and ensure successful project execution.
- Oversee financial aspects including forecasting and invoicing.
Business Development
- Identify new opportunities with existing and prospective clients.
- Support proposal development and attend industry networking events.
- Strengthen client relationships and contribute to growth strategy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering (Master's preferred).
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required or achievable in the near term.
- Minimum 5 years of geotechnical engineering experience.
- Proven success managing projects and engaging directly with clients.
- Strong communication skills and proficiency with relevant geotechnical software.
