Salary: Up to $160k DOE

Summary:

Are you an experienced Geotechnical Engineer looking for an opportunity to lead, mentor, and collaborate with a talented team of geologists and engineers? My client is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join a well-established and dynamic team with a reputation for delivering high-quality results. They serve both public and private clients, ensuring stability and diversity in their project portfolio. Their current team includes 10 geologists (5 of whom are Senior Engineering Geologists) and 11 materials testing technicians and special inspectors. This employee-owned firm has a tight knit crew of talented engineers and takes pride in seeing projects through from concept to construction.

They are looking for a seasoned geotechnical engineer who thrives in all stages of project implementation and is passionate about mentoring and developing talent within the team.

The Geotechnical Engineer should have...

  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years in geotechnical engineering
  • PE License required, GE preferred or in process
  • Expertise in foundation design (shallow and deep), slope stability evaluation and retaining wall design, seismic hazard analysis (liquefaction, settlement, slope failure), ground improvement techniques
  • Client management and interface experience
  • A collaborative mindset and strong communication skills.
  • A passion for problem-solving, innovation, and creativity on projects.
  • A commitment to supporting the technical growth of our geosciences team.
