LVI Associates is proud to be partnered with a highly respected, multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy with a strong presence across the Northeast. Known for delivering complex infrastructure and resilient design solutions, they are continuing to grow their geotechnical and dam engineering team.
We are currently seeking a Dam Engineer to join their team, supporting a range of dam rehabilitation, inspection, and design projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Support design and analysis of dams and hydraulic structures
- Assist with inspections and condition assessments
- Help produce reports, calculations, and technical documents
- Work alongside senior engineers on rehab and safety projects
- Coordinate with civil, geotechnical, and environmental teams
- Contribute to field investigations and construction support
What We're Looking For
- 2-5 years of relevant experience in geotechnical or civil engineering
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering (Master's a plus)
- Exposure to dams, embankments, or similar infrastructure preferred
- Solid understanding of geotechnical fundamentals (e.g., slope stability, seepage)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- EIT required or in progress; PE track strongly preferred
- Team-oriented with a proactive attitude to learning
