Key Responsibilities
- Manage and execute geotechnical investigations, analyses, and reporting for a range of project types
- Coordinate field exploration programs and laboratory testing
- Perform geotechnical analyses including foundation design, settlement, slope stability, and pavement evaluations
- Prepare and review geotechnical engineering reports and recommendations
- Interface directly with clients, contractors, and project stakeholders
- Support junior engineers and technicians through technical guidance and mentoring
- Assist with proposals, scope definition, and project budgeting as experience grows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering
- 4-7 years of relevant geotechnical engineering experience
- Texas PE license preferred
- EIT considered if actively working toward PE licensure within the next year
- Strong technical writing and communication skills
- Experience working on Houston-area or Gulf Coast soils strongly preferred
- Desire for long-term growth within a consulting environment
