- Head of Research / Academia Leadとして、大学、研究機関、シンクタンク、NGOなどとの戦略的なネットワーク構築をリードしていただきます。
- 気候変動、エネルギー、産業転換、経済政策分野における研究連携を推進し、産官学のステークホルダーを結びつけることで、日本のGXおよび脱炭素化の実現に貢献する重要なポジションです。
主な業務内容
- 国内外の大学、研究機関、シンクタンク、NGOとの戦略的パートナーシップの構築・強化
- 気候変動、エネルギー、産業転換、経済政策に関する調査研究プロジェクトの企画・推進
- 研究者、政策関係者、企業との連携を通じた知見共有およびコミュニティ形成
- 研究成果を政策提言や戦略立案に活用するための分析および発信
- カンファレンス、政策フォーラム、ラウンドテーブル等における組織代表としての対外活動
- 国内外の有識者ネットワークの構築および組織プレゼンスの向上

- 気候変動、エネルギー、サステナビリティ、経済政策、公共政策のいずれかの分野における深い専門知識
- 日本国内の大学、研究機関、シンクタンク、NGO、政策関係者との強固なネットワーク
- 調査研究プロジェクト、政策関連プログラム、またはパートナーシップマネジメントの経験
- 複雑な研究内容を分かりやすく伝える高いコミュニケーション能力
- 日本語ネイティブレベル、英語ビジネスレベル

Our client is an independent non-profit organization dedicated to advancing Japan's green transformation (GX) and decarbonization agenda.
The organization works closely with stakeholders across government, industry, finance, investment, and academia to promote advocacy initiatives, research programs, and policy dialogue related to energy transition and industrial transformation. Through evidence-based engagement and cross-sector collaboration, it supports Japan's transition toward a sustainable and competitive economy.
Role Overview
The Head of Research / Academia Lead will play a key role in building and managing strategic relationships with universities, research institutions, think tanks, and NGOs.
This position will lead research collaborations focused on climate, energy, industrial transition, and economic policy while bringing together stakeholders from academia, industry, and the public sector to support Japan's GX and decarbonization objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and strengthen strategic partnerships with universities, research institutions, think tanks, and NGOs in Japan and internationally
- Lead and oversee research initiatives related to climate change, energy transition, industrial transformation, and economic policy
Key Requirements
Required Experience
- Deep expertise in climate change, energy, sustainability, economic research, or public policy
- Strong professional network across Japanese universities, research institutes, think tanks, NGOs, and policy communities
- Experience managing research programs, policy initiatives, or strategic partnerships
Skills & Qualifications
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Ability to translate complex research into practical insights for diverse audiences
- Language Requirements
- Japanese: Native-level proficiency
- English: Business-level proficiency
