Healthcare Project Architect
A 40+ year old, nationally recognized architecture firm is seeking a Healthcare Project Architect to join their San Francisco office's Healthcare team.

Responsibilities
- Lead and participate in internal coordination meetings and client-facing design discussions.
- Produce and oversee architectural drawings, technical documentation, and project specifications.
- Maintain consistent communication with clients and project teams regarding design progress, schedules, and budget considerations.
- Apply a strong understanding of healthcare program requirements, codes, standards, and operational needs.
- Develop and communicate planning and design concepts through clear verbal, written, and graphic presentations.
- Stay current with technical, regulatory, and healthcare-specific design requirements through continuing education.
- Perform site visits, document field observations, and assist with RFIs and construction-related inquiries.
- Act as a liaison between consultants, contractors, and internal team members to resolve design and technical issues proactively.
- Maintain accurate and organized project documentation throughout all phases of work.
Qualifications
- Professional degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
- Licensed Architect or NCARB certification preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional architectural experience; healthcare and medical planning experience strongly preferred.
- Strong technical skill set with advanced proficiency in Revit; working knowledge of SketchUp, AutoCAD, and construction administration software (Newforma a plus).
- Proven ability to manage complex technical information with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong verbal, written, and graphic communication skills.
- Ability to learn new concepts quickly and adapt to project demands.
- Willingness to travel as needed for project meetings and site visits.
- Interest in mentoring and supporting the growth of emerging design professionals.

Salary range for qualified candidates is $100,000 - $160,000.
