Project Manager - Heavy Civil and/or Water Treatment

Location: Keizer, OR
Salary: $135,000- $165,000 + Bonus(s)

An established general contractor based in Keizer, OR is looking to add an experienced Project Manager to their team. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in heavy civil and/or water treatment plant construction who are ready to lead complex projects and contribute to a growing organization with a solid reputation in the industry.


Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all phases of heavy civil and/or water treatment plant projects from preconstruction through closeout.
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, subcontractor coordination, and client relationships.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols, environmental regulations, and contract specifications.
  • Collaborate with internal teams including estimating, engineering, and field operations.
  • Monitor project performance and proactively resolve issues to maintain timelines and profitability.

Experience Required

  • Minimum 5-7 years of project management experience in heavy civil or water/wastewater treatment construction.
  • Demonstrated success managing municipal infrastructure or public works projects.
  • Strong background in cost control, scheduling, and contract administration.
  • Experience working with regulatory agencies and utility providers.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proficiency with project management tools such as Procore, MS Project, or Primavera P6.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
