A growing heavy civil contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee infrastructure and site development projects from preconstruction through completion. This role is ideal for someone with experience in utilities, earthwork, site development, roadway, or public works construction.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage heavy civil projects from award through closeout
- Oversee budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and procurement
- Coordinate with Superintendents and field teams to ensure successful project execution
- Track project costs, change orders, and overall financial performance
- Review plans, specifications, and contract documents
- Communicate with clients, engineers, inspectors, and other project stakeholders
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as a Project Manager, Assistant Project Manager, or Superintendent in heavy civil construction
- Strong background in utilities, grading, earthwork, roadway, site development, or infrastructure projects
- Ability to read and interpret civil drawings and specifications
- Experience managing project budgets and schedules
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
