Houston Service Manager/PM
I'm currently partnering with a growing and well-established electrical contractor in Houston that is looking to hire a Service Manager to lead and expand its commercial service division.
This is a unique opportunity for someone who is looking to take ownership of an already successful business unit and play a key role in its growth. The company currently has 15 service trucks operating across the Houston market and has a clear strategic plan to double the size of the division over the next 12 months.
With an established client base and consistent incoming work, this role is not about building a service department from scratch. Instead, you'll be stepping into a position where there is already a strong foundation, a solid book of business, and the resources needed to continue scaling the operation.
The company works across a variety of commercial markets, including:
* Commercial office buildings
* Healthcare facilities
* Educational institutions
* Industrial and manufacturing facilities
* Retail and mixed-use developments
* Hospitality projects
* Tenant improvements and facility upgrades
As the Service Manager, you'll be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing field personnel, developing client relationships, driving revenue growth, and helping expand the service offering throughout the Houston market.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the service department
* Oversee service technicians, project execution, dispatching, scheduling, and workforce planning
* Develop and strengthen relationships with existing customers while creating new business opportunities
* Manage service agreements, maintenance contracts, and small project work
* Review estimates, proposals, budgets, and project financials
* Drive customer satisfaction, repeat business, and long-term client partnerships
* Recruit, mentor, and develop field personnel as the division continues to grow
* Work closely with executive leadership to execute the company's growth plans
What We're Looking For
* Experience working for an electrical contractor
* Proven success in a Service Manager, Operations Manager, Project Manager, or Service Operations role
* Strong background managing commercial electrical service and small projects
* Experience developing client relationships and growing revenue
* Ability to lead teams, manage financial performance, and drive operational excellence
