About the Role
We're seeking an experienced Controls Technician to join a leading building automation team in Columbia, MD. This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on professional who thrives in troubleshooting, installing, and maintaining cutting-edge control systems.
What You'll Do
- Install, program, and commission building automation systems (BAS) and HVAC controls.
- Diagnose and resolve system issues quickly and efficiently.
- Perform preventive maintenance and ensure optimal system performance.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Provide technical support and training to clients as needed.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in BAS or HVAC controls.
- Strong knowledge of DDC systems, networking, and integration.
- Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and control schematics.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with major platforms (e.g., Johnson Controls, Siemens, Trane, Honeywell).
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally.
