A well-established architecture and engineering firm located west of Atlanta is seeking a Mechanical Designer with a focus on plumbing systems. This role will evolve to include HVAC design responsibilities. The firm specializes in educational and commercial projects, including large-scale K-12 campuses and municipal buildings.
Responsibilities:
Design plumbing systems for educational and commercial facilities
Collaborate with mechanical engineering teams and project stakeholders
Transition into HVAC design responsibilities over time

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification
2-4 years of post-graduate experience in plumbing design
Strong understanding of mechanical systems and design principles

Compensation and Benefits:
Total compensation typically in the mid-to-upper $80,000s:
Base salary approximately $65,000
Annual performance bonus
