HVAC & Piping Manager (Southampton, PA)

Job Summary

My client is seeking an experienced HVAC & Piping Manager to lead and oversee mechanical construction projects with a focus on HVAC systems and piping installations. This role involves managing field operations, coordinating with project teams, and ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency across all phases of project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee HVAC and piping installations on commercial and industrial projects.
• Manage field crews, subcontractors, and project schedules to ensure timely completion.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and clients to align on scope and execution.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
• Review mechanical drawings and specifications for constructability and accuracy.
• Support procurement of materials and equipment in coordination with purchasing teams.
• Monitor project budgets, productivity, and quality control.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to field staff and foremen.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure work meets design and code requirements.
• Participate in project planning, scheduling, and progress meetings.

Qualifications & Skills

• 5+ years of experience in HVAC and piping systems within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including ductwork, chilled water, steam, and hydronic piping.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, specifications, and P&IDs.
• Familiarity with relevant codes and standards (e.g., ASHRAE, SMACNA, NFPA).
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred.
