Position Overview:
We are seeking a full-time Project Manager to join a growing team in the Philadelphia area. This role involves managing and coordinating HVAC project activities in collaboration with internal teams and external clients to meet both customer and company objectives. The Project Manager will oversee all aspects of assigned projects, ensuring completion within budget and schedule, in accordance with contract documents, plans, and specifications, and to the satisfaction of the client.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain professional relationships with clients, team members, vendors, and subcontractors based on respect, trust, and integrity.
- Review and analyze project estimates and preliminary budgets.
- Assist in resolving contract-related conflicts.
- Develop a strong understanding of HVAC plans, specifications, and scheduling to ensure timely and budget-conscious project completion.
- Monitor project progress and proactively identify potential issues.
- Manage cost projections and evaluate project performance; update monthly Work-In-Progress reports.
- Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation including correspondence, submittals, RFIs, daily reports, and change orders.
- Conduct procurement activities for materials, tools, equipment, subcontracts, and permits.
- Oversee subcontractor performance in terms of quality, safety, and progress.
- Collaborate with the Safety Manager to enforce safety regulations and eliminate hazardous conditions.
- Manage project close-out procedures and turnover documentation.
Minimum Requirements:
- 5-8 years of hands-on experience in the HVAC industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Willingness to travel locally up to 50% for client meetings and site visits.
- Eagerness to learn piping layout plans and construction methods.
- Interest in construction materials, equipment, and techniques to support estimate evaluations.
- Commitment to maintaining high professional and ethical standards.

- Experience managing complex design and construction schedules and budgets.
- Familiarity with Trimble piping and labor estimating software.
Work Environment:
- Primarily office-based, using standard office equipment.
- Occasional travel to local job sites, with exposure to typical construction site conditions.
- May involve climbing ladders, navigating mechanical spaces, and safely accessing outdoor areas.
