Mid-Level Interior Designer - Commercial & Landlord Services

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the team on test fits, finish upgrades, and amenity spaces for multi-tenant office buildings.
  • Manage project phases from concept through construction administration, including programming, design development, documentation, and coordination.
  • Prepare and present building-standard finish packages aligned with branding, budgets, and schedule goals.
  • Work closely with brokers, contractors, consultants, and product reps to achieve project objectives.
  • Participate in space planning, FF&E selection, and furniture systems coordination.
  • Create graphic presentations, renderings, finish plans, and material specifications.
  • Assist with schedules, budgets, and documentation while supporting senior designers.
  • Engage in a positive, team-based culture that encourages problem-solving and open communication.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design from an accredited program.
  • 2-5 years of commercial interior design experience (3+ years preferred).
  • Experience with landlord or tenant improvement (TI) projects.
  • Strong skills in space planning, finish selection, FF&E coordination, and construction documentation.
  • Ability to learn ArchiCAD quickly; experience with BIM platforms (Revit, etc.) preferred.
  • Understanding of BOMA standards and building efficiency considerations.
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills.

Preferred

  • Familiarity with tools such as Twinmotion, SketchUp, VRay, or similar visualization platforms.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
